Yeah there's no wires at all . All the power and sound come from the Xbox Controller .
I don't wanna knock the headset because what doesn't work for me might work for someone else .

Im rockin the adapter with my A50's and its the shit . Now that the Xbox one has Dolby Digital there was no need for me to buy a new headset
