Battlefield 3

Hey CAGsters. And O.G CAGsters.
Just wanted see if there's anyone out there who's excited as I am to get their grubby little paws on Battlefield 3 this fall. When I first came into CAG, I was kinda big on Bad Company 2. Without many other gamers to play with, I left BFBC2. It didn't make much sense to play a game that had strong emphases on team support when I didn't have a team. Also most of CAG was doing very well in MW2. I still miss EAs Battlefield franchise and debate whether or not to buy myself another copy to replace the one I gave to my father in-law. The announcement of the fall release of DICEs new project dissolves my debate a bit.
Medal of Honor was a tad dissatisfying. Campaign was short and the multi-player just needed more content. I'm pretty sure DICE realized their shortcomings and decided to make up for it with B3.
What's CAGs involvement in the new B3? Well, I'm glad you asked.
CAG is no one trick pony. With as many members as we have, it would be foolish to think the only game we play is Black Ops. Ghost Recon, SOCOM, and Homefront are all games that I'm sure a few of us will be playing. I would like to string together a small squad for B3. It wont be as big as our CoD division. In fact, a 5 man unit would be plenty. This is just thought.

Im looking forward to it. I was a big BF2 player on pc back in the day. The only thing I have noticed with EA/Dice and the battlefield franchise is.....the games are always needing patched for things that should of been polished before retailing the game. I almost always run into lag issues, probs connecting to the servers, and freaking stat padders. Im hoping BF3 turns out more like BF2 and less like Bad Company. I dont see myself buying this or Home Front the day it launches. Im going to more than likely going to rent both games the day they come out and see which one I like best if not both and go from there.

Hmmmm....when does this game come out? The more and more I see you guys talking about this and the videos I am seeing, the more I am getting persuaded towards maybe buying this game.
