FYI ... It takes 23k XP to go from 36 to 37, while it takes 45k XP to go from 46 to 47. The XP required ramps up pretty good at the end.

Just reached the end of Generation 1. The last level itself, 49 to 50, required around 80k XP (roughly what it takes to go from level 1 to 16). No worries, near the end of the Generation you should be finishing some high XP challenges (10k, 5k, each).
To complete Generation 1 it took me 97 rounds (50% was probably Last Titan Standing, lol) at around 16.5 hours.
