Hi and thanks for taking the time to read this!
I'm new to CAG and excited to be here!
I go by Duck or Ducky. The GT is QWaKeR SMaKeR.
I am strictly a CoD nut! I've tried my hand at BF and Halo and MoH but didn't enjoy them as much as I do CoD. I've been playing CoD since the WaW campaign. I was in a clan during the MW3 life cycle but left during BLOPS2 and the beginning of Ghosts. I enjoyed by clan time and gained valuable knowledge and leadership and tactics during my time and was a fast riser in that clan.
I am a CoD apologist. I know a lot of people are down on Ghosts but I do enjoy it. It has it's share of flaws but let's be honest, every CoD has. I will ALWAYS love CoD, no matter what the mass opinion is or who produces it. I am excited about the new 3 year cycle of developers and hope that this will allow for near perfect titles in the future.
I will be buying TitanFall and will probably spend a good deal of time on it at first. I got to play some during the Beta phase and was thoroughly impressed by it. Will it be the CoD killer? No. Will it be a good franchise with a long life cycle? Probably.
I am BIG into the MLG scene. I have attended several events and competed with and against some of the big names in the pro scene. Having said that, I am a DIE HARD member of OpTic Nation and the GreenWall, so feel free to make jokes or hate on me, but I bleed green!
What I hope to bring to CAG is this, a good time (I am quite funny ... or at least my mom tells me I am) and a lot of WINS. If it's in pub matches or Clan Wars or a Comp team, I am a fierce competitor. I HATE losing and I am very hard on myself if I don't carry my load. But I won't make excuses or rage out.
Ok....now that the gaming side is handled, more about me.
I am 34 years old. I am married to my best friend who is completely supportive of my gaming life. She won't tell me that I'm playing too much unless I am. We have 3 amazing kids. 2 are mine from a previous marriage and her son is also from a previous marriage.
I am retired. Yes, at 34 I am retired. I was a paramedic for 10+ years but after getting married this time, my wife and I decided it was time for me to retire. The hours and risks of being a paramedic are great. I loved my profession and I still do but being a stay at home dad is 100x better.
I am an avid hunter and fisher. I live that life with my wife and kids. Its how we bond.
Anything else, just ask away!
Glad to be here and thanks for the chance!
