Help Picking Out a New Mic

So my dog broke my xbox 360 mic and I wanted to buy a new one because communicating in games is key. I didn't want to buy a really expensive one because i primary play on my xbox one but from time to time i like to go back to the 360 and play nba2k14, halo4, etc. I was debating on getting the standard MS xbox mic that the xbox originally came with which sold for $20. Or the After glow mics that costed about the same. When i read the reviews about the after glow, i was kind of skeptical about it. What do you guys think?

yeah if you still want to have a usable mic for 360 i would go with something cheap if you don't need to soundwhore. i'm planning on getting the Polk headset for XB1 when they release next month.

I was also planning on getting good headsets for the xbox1 when they release as well. You know when and which ones are the ideal ones?

Yes saw that but video don't let me listen to them lol I told myself id never get TB but I did and they are shit totally wireless battery is built in an can charge while they are in use just don't know if I should when xb1 headsets drop
