like most, for some reason my NAT is set to Strict and it is rather annoying.
i have seen the video for turning Energy-Saver mode on but then my games won't update when my console is turned off and that is even worse seeing as how they take forever and a day now.
i remember someone talking in a party about some sort of ports or porting or something like that... hopefully whoever it was sees this and can help me out here cause i don't remember who or what that was all aboot.
Can you get into your router settings? Google the model of your router and it will tell you how.
The easiest way to get an open nat is to turn on a DMZ (de-militarized zone) that will give you an IP address to use with your X1

there was a article for the 360 on the website of my router maker which i tried and it is still strict. that DMZ thing doesn't give me any kind of IP address to use.

forwarded 7 specific ports still Strict. this is the dumbest shit ever. you shouldn't have to do this.
ok opening the 7 ports worked. i only restarted my router and not my modem. restarted both and logged backed in and NAT was open. thank god.
