Fire Team Leaders

Ok I need blame wolf and west to respond to this I need to go over who you guys are going to pick for your fire team leaders so what I'm going to need is a list of the member you guys would like as a fire team leader and please these leaders must be active on the forums as well as on Xbl and they need to be on xb1. After you guys get these names posted we will then chat in private to decide who will take the leader position thanks guys

i would like Emperor. i asked d4rky if we could just roll with one fireteam in alpha for the time being seeing as how it's going to be really hard to fill 9 fireteams and he said he would consult with you first since it is your platoon. my thought was we could fill the other fireteams in alpha when other guys get more experience and as more recruits get their marksman completed.

I would personally billet at least 3 fireteam leaders even if the fireteams are not full that way they can all start recruiting and working on their own fireteams. That's just my suggestion.

ok cheech that makes sense. didn't think about that.

i think their were 17 total on XB1, 4 are brotal, d4rky, pawz and kuj, and 3 are now squad leaders i believe. so should the other 9 be fireteam leaders then?

my only other question is some of those 9 haven't been here very long and my thought was that fireteam leaders should be able to mentor recruits and their respective fireteam in how CAG operates in all aspects. that and some aren't quite as active on the forums as others which might i thought could present a problem if lets say a person less active on the forums was the only one in a game with the recruit as he was working towards his marksman.

are either of these things a problem in this situation?

I'm curious ...

So, where are the North American X360 guys being placed?

To my understanding, there would be 2 platoons (1st would be North America, 2nd would be Europe). With each platoon, there could be up to 3 squads (A, B, C) and within each squad up to 3 fireteams (1, 2, 3).

So, you've just asked the 1st platoon's 3 squad leaders to select from X1, not to mention that one of them, Wolf, is still on X360 (though hoping to get an X1 soon). Where are the North American 360 players placed?

Am I misunderstanding something? Did the structure change that I'm not aware of?

oh lol. well i thought perhaps for the time being just rocking with one squad and as more recruits complete their marksman we can fill another and so fourth. in that scenario, whether or not i remain the squad leader is not a huge deal. if someone else would be better for the job then so be it. i feel like it's more important to make sure the recruits get solid mentoring (not to say that anyone would be bad or anything along those lines) to cut down on the work of the all the higher ups within the division even if it means i am just a grunt. the less they have to come in and answer questions or confirm games the more they can focus on other officer activities within the division.

again that's just my thought. whether or not it is a good one i'm not sure. i do think trying to do 3 fireteams with 9 or 10 people may be a bit rough in the beginning.
