Most Memorable 7 Game Series - To You

what i would like to hear from all you CAG members is what was the most memorable 7 game series to you? it can be NHL, MLB or NBA. what series that went 7 games sticks out the most in your mind and why?

for me it will forever be the 2004 ALCS between the Red Sox and the Yankees. now, i'm gonna be honest, i don't like baseball much. i hadn't even watched the first 3 games in that series. but when i heard that Boston was down 3-0 and looked at their rotation i figured if any team had a chance it was them. i tuned in to the rest of that series and boy i am glad. the Red Sox became the first team in history to come back from 3-0 and win the series. this was quite an amazing series. i'll never forget Curt Schilling pitching on that bad ankle. the constant zoom in to the infamous bloody sock every inning. David Ortiz's clutch home run in game 4. Johnny Damon's grand slam in game 7. so many amazing moments. in my opinion that will go down in history as the most memorable series ever. again, i'm not a big baseball fan but i sure do hate the Yankees it was really satisfying to see the faces on the fans in game 7 in the Bronx.

that one against the Knicks the year Jordan went to play baseball and John Starks headbutted Miller. haha you would have thought Tyson just hit him with a right hook. i really don't like him as a person. he talked tons of shit and never would own up to it. he was a good player but his sister was better haha.

Any seven game series with the Red Wings. Seriously. There have been so many great ones. I guess the one that sticks out to me the MOST is Wings and Sharks in 2010 I think, even though it wasn't seven games, mostly because it was before I went away to university so I was able to get an assload of people over for every game. I'll never forget this moment either:



Yep, that's the penalty box at the Joe, haha. For you non-NHL fans, the Shark Tank is the fan-name of the Sharks home arena, usually.

Strictly speaking of seven game series' though, I'd say that Wings/Sharks 2011 and Wings/Ducks|Wings/Blackhawks 2013 was pretty sick as well.

Definitely! Although I've been a horrible hockey fan this year. I don't have cable and haven't streamed very many games this year, mostly because I don't have two TV's in any rooms at the moment, and I'm too into playing BF4 in my down time. Next year is going to be sick though, because I'll have my 58" for gaming right next to my 60" for hockey out in the living room, haha.

Last year I only missed even watching maybe 3 or 4 games, and it was during times where I literally couldn't even stream the radio over my phone.

I shan't be missing any Olympic games this year though, because Olympic hockey is just too rare, so I'll be setting up a 27" monitor to stream to for that.

Flyers vs. bruins
Flyers down 3-0 in the series, come back all the way to tie it at 3-3 then fall behind in game 7 3-0 and win the game 4-3!

Awesome! I was at game 4 when Flyers won in OT. Loudest I've ever heard a hockey area.
