Suggestions For the BF4 Division

First, going back to my Armor and Air Unit Leaders. this was never given a yes or no after a bump nor acknowledged.

Second - Medals.

BF4 added Fast Attack Craft as a vehicle. we should have a medal for this as we do for Armor and Air. 7 kills for the one time medal. 10 times for the Expert Watercraft.

we should have a Squad Wipe one time medal. perhaps 5 Squad Wipes? 10 times for the Expert Squad Wipe.

we should have a Ace Squad medal. perhaps 5-10 Ace Squad ribbon's for the one time medal. 10 times for the Expert Ace Squad.

the medals also still need to have the point values adjusted. this was something i had asked about doing long ago and it did not work for me when i tried to adjust them. as it stands, all medals for BF4 are worth 25 points. some are EXTREMELY hard to attain.

the reason i posted this in a separate thread is because in previous posts none of these suggestions were given a yes or no, nor were they acknowledged.

if you guys don't like the ideas, that is perfectly fine. i have no problem with being said no to. no biggie. it is however extremely aggravating not to be acknowledged.

Im gonna start working on the designs and the Ill look into looking into the point values of all the medals, and Yes I agree its a good idea with the separate wings but could you elaborate on that? because the way d4rky had the roster set up we had guys designated for those.

i was not aware of this. apologies.

i'm not sure what would be the best way to separate it. squad's perhaps? i think they should have billets this way people would know when they look at the roster and even their posts. when you look at the roster you know Kujeaux is an Infantry Unit Leader. there are no doubts due to the billet. if you only put them in separate squads newcomers won't know unless they ask someone.

if you would like i will post some graphics to help you gather ideas. the one time ribbons are pretty much spitting images of ones you receive at the end of each round so i would suggest that. as far as the medals, i'll have to take a look but i can bounce some ideas off of you via this thread.

Yea sorry about not really posting on that last one I was gonna just go through it at the weekly meeting and putting the results in the forum post about it, and yea we can just start bouncing ideas about the medals on here, and get them set up. and what the requirements for each is

i think for Watercraft medal it should use that image but done in the manner of both the Ace Squad and Squad Wipe medals. i think they all look great and again you know its Battlefield.

as far as the point values go i would suggest this:

100 for all one time medals
1,000 for all expert medals
5,000 for Special Forces
15,000 for CIB

experts are clearly harder to attain so they should be worth more than one time medals.

Special Forces requires you to attain all the expert medals so the time and amount of kills over a vast array of weaponry should make this more value than one type or another of expert medal.

the CIB requires you to attain EVERY BF4 medal so naturally it should be worth the most and alot. it is a very specialized type of medal and the hardest one to earn and that should be reflected in the point value it is worth.

now, upon first glance those numbers seem rather large. to put them into perspective, specialized COD medals range from 500 to 35,000. an argument could possibly be made to take the Special Forces and the CIB higher but i think those numbers should be satisfying to most.
