Modded Lobbies/ Random Cash Give Aways

So i was playing in some random lobby and half way through the session i was given 50 mill from a random. I thought it was my lucky day so i saved and quit for a solo session nd it said the save was messed up. I did eventually get my save back but of course without my surplus of money. Does anyone know how Rockstar goes about dealing with these sort of things? Ive seen my buddy do it on ps3 and it seems they dont enforce it as much (or the ps3 modders are super incognito about it somehow idk)

i got 2 billion from a bounty the other day i still have 199 mil because i heard anything over than 1 bill your money gets reset but rockstar is fixing the modded lobbys and players
