I must admit the Amaar ships have a nice look about them. My alt runs a booster Legion, not that boosts are what they used to be post nerf.

Thanks for the feedback guys but i know a friend that could program it on his PC. He will do it for free to cuz he is really good.

Very good feedback and also great suggestions. While I do welcome everyone's feedback on how to make this site better, because of web security and my obligation to make sure everyone's personal information that is submitted to this site when all of you register, allowing someone who I do not know code up an app for this site is a high risk. Why?
Apps are the #1 reason websites and people's mobile phones get hacked. The "tapatalk" app does it's job and everyone has used it on these forums for the last 2 years.
Now to the twitter suggestion.
The whole point of having a website is to keep forum activity here on this website and forums not on another social network like facebook or twitter. I do have RSS feeds that will post anything to twitter then automatically to facebook. Both are already set up and you guys can already follow us on twitter and like us on facebook to get all the latest threads and convos.
Another reason why I am reluctant in doing too much with twitter and facebook is the revenue they get from us, our forums posting on twitter and facebook. Every post that goes from here to their sites raises their revenue and quality backlinks while we get nothing in return. In other words, it is free advertising that both twitter and facebook get from our site's activity.
I am not like other clans that require their members to have a facebook and twitter account to be a member here. I actually removed the facebook connect feature on this website because of the lack of courtesy from facebook's crawlers and bots. What do I mean? With every post and every account that logs in using facebook connect, on any given day this site would have over 100 active spiders all coming from IPs associated with facebook. Facebook doesn't follow crawl rules that we as website masters and website owners provide for robots to use when they decide to crawl our websites. The only one of these 2 that is actually very good in following crawl rules is Twitter.
And finally, I don't make any revenue with this website, except the donations that you guys give when you can. I will never ask for donations unless it is absolutely necessary and even then what is donated to the clan is used on the forums.
Having someone code an app would add extra server load in the form of extra "queries" and if the app is not coded correctly our site could be affected in a negative manner causing our site to go down and even get hacked.
To have such apps requires extra maintenance and man power to monitor. Unless you guys are willing to pay some kind of fee every month to get a dedicated server which could cost up to $100 a month to make sure our site wouldn't be affected then we can look into doing something like this.
The problem with moving our site to a dedicated server is the uncertainty and lack of guarantee that the money to cover a dedicated server every month would be available every month. If people fail to pay or donate then I would have to come up with the money to keep the site on a dedicated server.
I also am not going to tattoo our site with advertisement banners only to have those that want to advertise on our site tell us what we can and can't have on our site.
There is more than just coding and installing an app on a site.
