Xbox One Alternative Headset

i'll do a mini review from an unbiased standpoint of the Polk's after i get 2-3 days use with them for curious parties.

Good thing I hate doing reviews . But I guess I can give some insight on how they do for COD .

The only thing I don't like is the xb1 dosent support Dolby Digital yet so are these new headsets going to have a way of giving us 3d sound ?

Another good thing is they come with the new puck so if I don't like these I can always go back to my Astros A50's .

This is what concerns me too..my Tritton cans are true 5.1 surround with individual speakers in each ear...will the polk be able to match this?

we should do a duel review. yours from CoD mine from BF4 perspective. that could be fun. again, not sure about the Dolby question, i'll try to do some research. that's a good fall back plan though.

Blame right now xb1 dosent support Dolby . It has Dts but no headsets support that so I'm just wondering how there going to get that 3D effect in there . Ive been looking and xb1 is supposed to be fixing this .

I've just read that there is an update coming to xb1 in March which will enable Dolby via the optic...along with Microsoft releasing an adapter for 360 headsets.

what i want to know is why did they wait so long to release the adapter's and XB1 headsets. they literally had 5+ months to get their shit together. when i was looking at the Polks on Amazon in January they were supposed ship on February 2nd then got pushed back yet another month. why? i would ask why Microsoft even felt the need to change the plug on the controllers but we all know the answer..... Microsoft is a young, struggling company. <---- sarcasm.

all i know is these headsets better stoke me while i play for making me wait so long.

I know right...frustrating as hell.

I look forward to the forthcoming opinions. I have even more interest now seeing as the new £50 Microsoft headset was voted best, even above TB.

If they do drop Dolby soon it might look like I just spent 159$ on a headset adapter if the new headset dosent as blame said wow me .

Gamestop releasing new XB1 headsets tomorrow 3/7/14 and the headset adapter . Picking my 4 shots up on the way home .
