Good shit you going to be on later kuj . I thought about it and had them preordered but then I was like I just bought the A 50's and the adapter is only 24$ so I said fuck it and got my money back .

The one thing I want to know about these headsets is where do they get their power from if they don't have a battery pack in them

I wouldn't say that I'm a good judge of headsets or sound quality.

I've been listening to music on them (through my phone, then through the Xbox itself) and they sound great to me but I've never had nice headphones for music. They fit well.

Side note, my coworker (PS4 owner) was asking if the X1 played audio CDs (I hadn't tried it before) ... and it plays them fine, though need to download the Audio CD Player app, which it automatically prompts you for ....... apparently the PS4 can't play audio CDs yet ... I had not realized. [No thread hijacking please

I've got the standard Xbox One stereo set and they're pretty good, not the greatest mix of speech/audio but it's adjustable to your liking. Not sure if it's worth 80 but it's probably worth 55 which is the extra in case you plan on getting the adapter anyway.

So do we have a definitive CAG review of the polks yet? I may be able to use my Tritton cans with the new firmware update but am still interested in these 4shots :-)
