Not sure if this is a work in progress or what, but if anyone that hasn't been on or hasn't notice we as a clan have been getting railed hard in the clan wars for cod ghosts. I can vouch for some people and I know people can vouch for me when I say we have been playing and trying to cap things. Some of us have been trying our hardest to cap whatever possible, but it still doesn't work do to us only having 1 team or at the most 2 teams running. I know we can't get out of the platinum division but we can drop sub regions by dropping the players that don't play and don't contribute to the wars that are in the in-game ghosts clan. I know that it's the holidays an all but even when I joined I haven't seen half the people that are on that roster on at all. No offense if you are on it and can't get on do to personal issues, but I think I speak for the people that do play when I say that I want to win some of the clan wars and actually have a fighting chance. We can't do that with only 12 or 15 of the 50 people on the roster playing.

I know for me personally I have not been on much this month, but I agree that more members need to help in the Wars. With that said there is a lot of personal shit going on and mix that with the holidays and everything that comes with it, it's hard to get on this time. Also, this was just a bad time to have a Clan Wars and COD should have waited till after the holidays to have another one. Basically I wouldn't worry about it this time but hopefully there is more participation with future wars.

Beachhead Studios, the gaming studio that's running Clan Wars, has said repeatedly on their twitter feed that the groupings are based on the number of wins that a clan accumulates in a given period. They have given an example (I don't remember the exact wording) that a clan of 5 people could be paired up with a clan of 100 people if their total wins have been similar.

So, during the pre-Clan War evaluation weekend, our COD team put in a lot of work to get wins and were placed in the Platinum division, great job. We competed well in the first clan war but, in my opinion, due to the vague game rules, we came in 2nd. The second clan war was doomed from the beginning ... many COD players, noticeably ones that seem to play a lot, left the clan. Thus, our expected number of wins was much higher than the actual number of wins that we could produce, while being paired up against clans that can produce around the expected number of wins. I'm not sure how the developers are pairing up the clans, other than their vague comments about number of wins over each evaluation period (presumably the previous clan war), but it may take a few cycles for us to level out to where we should be based on the number of wins.

One scenario where I can see your idea to drop people from the in-game clan roster being relevant, is if many of the wins that we are getting are insignificant (or wasted, from a Clan Wars perspective). By insignificant, I mean that either ... 1. we own the node and have capped out the number of wins on that node, while clan members continue to win in that game mode ... or 2. another clan holds a node, our wins help to bring that node leader to zero, but we allow another clan to then capture that node, essentially using our wins to help their cause.

From what I've observed in the last clan war and this one, the top 2 clans are getting a whole lot more wins than we. No amount of smart wins will overcome the quantity they are producing and we are likely still paired unevenly with other clans.


And honestly, this 3rd clan war being right before Christmas is kind of chaotic anyway.

You can't drop from platinum to gold or silver but you can definitely drop sub regions there's no way that all clans play against each other in one division of platinum. Usually if you drop players it helps. I'm done getting completely embarrassed like that.

And if you aren't contributing to it then why should you get to wear the gold tag? You shouldn't, you can still use the clan tag in 'Customize your own tag.' So it's not like that aren't in the clan, they still are just not in the actual ghosts part. This is not just me either. A bunch of us were talking about it, I just decided to take action and voice the opinion of the people. And again like I said in the first post I've seen maybe 1/4 of the people on the roster actually playing ghosts since I joined, and even then I still here from people that there isn't much participation to begin with.

Jigsaw, just sit back and wait. It is hard to play with "Hacker" and "Moders" in Clan Wars. CAG is waiting for all the Hackers and Moders get done getting all their "Camos" and stuff like that. And they will be gone. Then CAG in start Ruling the Clan Wars. Just give them a few more months and they will be gone.
Sit back and relax and enjoy Christmas and enjoy playing. If you stress out like you are doing now, you will be no good when CAG needs you the most.

Jigsaw has a point but we need to wait till after the holidays to address it I see your point jigsaw and your not wrong it's just the timing I know I don't have a lot of time with the holidays but I get matches in when I can

Well i know the last clan ops i didnt sleep 4 three days im just saying and if i wasnt out of town id be on now. But you better believe that i will be driving 19 hours str8 tomorrow morning to be home to at least play 4 few hours. And there is no way will ever be taken out of the platinum division i taled to some one at actavision will jst keep being paied up with random squads

This is what I want to see. This is great that you guys are caring so much about this. I have to agree with you jigsaw. I had posted something along these lines the other day, and with you saying it again helps. There is not enough participation either it be the holiday times or people just don't want to hassle with it. I think we should hit this with full force after the holidays. We can do it. We just need to get our members in here. Make our teams good and solid and do what we do best and that is win. More people mean more wins at on Time. In all honesty we could probably win this in one night if everyone would just play. We could do what we have been seeing every other clan out there do. Just start capping shit and getting massive points. We should start with the ones we know we can win quickly and easily. Those will have action on them (other clans going for them), but we can do it you guys I know we can. We can talk and communicate just as good if not better than some clans. GET PUMPED!!!! Get your teams together and practice so we DO NOT lose!

Any game is going to have modded and hackers. Winning camps is not going to stop them from being placed into Clan Wars. We are going to have to face people that are harder to beat. Some impossible, but even if there wasn't hackers and modded there is going to be someone out there that is better than ourselves. We need to not focus on the hackers and modders or the try hards. CAG DOGGS are not afraid of a little unfair competition. We are the DOGGS. He have our brothers to help us. We have strategy and tatics that other fail to enact. He have the brains and know how to do what we need to get the win. There have been plenty of times recently where I personally have made theses try hards rage out. Hell there have been times were we have won because everyone left the game. Hackers are just slackers that don't know how to play properly. Modders and just the cannon fodder that gets in our way or the win. And those try hards are the ones that will cry harder when they get beat. Don't be afraid CAG. Be pissed these guys are trying to install fear of these gamers into everyone and taker them out.
