Yes.

The China Rising maps are generally large and vehicle heavy, except for Guilin Peaks which is heavy infantry and a lot of fun. I've only played these on next-gen with 64 players. I could see them being too big for 24 players.

The Second Assault maps (released on X1 only, so far, I think) are the BF3 maps reimagined. Caspian Border is quite different with a wall rather than a fence and a levelution-able tower on the hill. Operation Metro and Operation Firestorm are mostly the same. Gulf of Oman is the same layout but a Sandstorm comes in for most of the match, making it play very differently.

Like the new maps. vehicle and team play is a must. Can't get into air superiority yet.
