I have a hd pvr 2 great for recording and live streaming. The only downside is if he wants to make videos your gonna have to drop some cash for a editing software and maybe a snowball or yeti mic for voice overs, but it's well worth it if that's what he wants to do. If you don't want to drop the cash there's always a bay where pirates goif you want to get the same software for free.
