My son wants a HD PVR or a personal video recorder, I know there are a lot out there, but I want some input on this and tell me which one to get, what is the best for quality, cost, and editing. input please. thanks

I have the Hauppauge PVR Saki and it works great...I got it at best buy for about 150 ...walmart has the gaming edition and it's better I hear.....Buhzerk has the "el gato" i think its called...both of these are good ...

I have a hd pvr 2 great for recording and live streaming. The only downside is if he wants to make videos your gonna have to drop some cash for a editing software and maybe a snowball or yeti mic for voice overs, but it's well worth it if that's what he wants to do. If you don't want to drop the cash there's always a bay where pirates goif you want to get the same software for free.
