Right at the beginning, I don't think there is any wrong answer. The best thing is to work together, finish a node, then move to the next. The only advice I would give is to avoid any 200 win nodes, at first. That's wins that could be better applied to three 60 win nodes.
Other than that ... there's speculation, and I'm interested to see if it plays out, that specific locations are valued higher initially, such as utilities. But that may have been per chance in the first clan war and that the starting values are random.
