I decided to base and mirror CAG's structure with that of the U.S. Marines and like their own "ethos", I personally stress and emphasize leadership among all members of CAG not just Officers. This is why we have fire-team "Leaders" in CAG and their importance to CAG is bigger than anyone realizes.
When you guys are in a lobby and someone starts running their mouth, even a Private 1st Class in the clan has the obligation to put his fellow members in check. Leadership is more than just being a "leader" and handing down orders, a leader can be anyone who is willing to stand up and take charge when the need arises.
With this post here, you slimreaper showed great "leadership" by speaking your mind and this is what "I" am looking for out of my clan's members. Many people in "leadership" positions are sometimes to timid or scared to say something for fear of not being liked or even obeyed, that is when a "state of chaos" is most likely to happen. There is a quote from the great Chinese Philosopher Confucius that I have always liked,"[The superior man] acts before he speaks, and afterwards speaks according to his actions.",another quote I like is,
"Guide the people by law, subdue them by punishment; they may shun crime, but will be void of shame. Guide them by example, subdue them by courtesy; they will learn shame, and come to be good." ...and yet another one which is probably the most important one for "Me" as Leader of this Clan,

And the treading those ways of duty is to be cultivated by the cherishing of benevolence."I am at a point in my life you guys where the results and consequences of my actions mean a lot to me. I have a 13 year old Son who looks up to me and I also have you guys here in CAG who have decided to come to this clan to be a part of it and you guys wouldn't all be here if you didn't like what you saw.
But laws and rules need to be followed, our Code of Conduct starts with the following,
"A code of conduct is a set of rules outlining the responsibilities of or proper practices for an individual or organization. Related concepts include ethical codes and honor codes. CAG has such a CoC that must be practiced by all members. CAG is a Friendly Gaming Community and we do have Children who are part of the Clan. We have many different backgrounds who are part of CAG as well. We "WILL NOT" tolerate offensive behavior from anyone. Racial and gay insults are serious offenses and will get you removed from the Clan without explanation. Please read the following as it is our Code of Conduct."
If I didn't enforce our Code of Conduct all these years, if I wasn't as stern and tolerated people disrespecting and not following our Code of Conduct, CAG would not be here today. I don't put up with bullshit and as a result many people have left CAG because they just don't want to follow the rules. Yes this is only a clan and we are all here to have "fun", but without these rules, our Code of Conduct, CAG would not be here today.
We as Leaders and members as well shouldn't be scared to correct another fellow "Dogg Brother" when he does something wrong. If a fellow "Dogg Brother" is offended or insulted because he is being corrected, it is only due to ignorance and immaturity.
I don't want to work harder in anything I do, I have worked hard to work less doing something I love.
Being the Leader of CAG is something "I" love and I am not going to allow anyone disrespecting what CAG stands for. I have stayed away from the politics that are involved in the gaming industry which include sponsorships and advertisements on our website and forums. Why?, because of all the bullshit rules that they want to impose on sponsored clans and websites such as "zero tolerance of foul language or profanity", "acceptable material on our site" and other things that no one is going to tell me I can't have on this website.
I do not censor the use of bad words here because I believe we are mature enough to know when to use it and when not to. I do not censor anything here because I want everyone to feel comfortable using the forums as long as they respect each other and themselves as well.
The same rules need to be followed on XBL pre-game and during games. CAG stands for more than just "Combat Applications Group", it stands for Honor, Integrity, Respect and Sportsmanship. We are a Family here and even in the most perfect of Families there are always obstacles that need to be overcome.
We must be able to determine the proper way of defending ourselves when we are attacked by the idiots who like to talk shit in lobbies on XBL. If you are told you are a "fucking camper" and that you are "no good", or that you are "a fucking pussy", either say nothing at all or say something back to them that does not directly insult them and that does not use profanity to directly insult them. An example would be, "hey CAG you guys are fucking pussies for camping", your answer could be something like, "we might be fucking pussies, but we won right".
While you were able to use profanity to fire back, you didn't call them pussies or told them to fuck off. I have no problem with something like that being said. If someone fires back with something else, you "are" allowed to simply say "STFU" and then say nothing after that.
I would prefer for you guys to never say anything back and allow them to suck you in to their level.
There is much more I could say but I will stop boring you guys now. Just remember this, you came here to CAG, you should of read our Code of Conduct, there is no reason for anyone to feel stressed out or scared about anything here.

Nicely put Cheech way to go that definately got the point acrossed and everyone he is dead right whrn he says everyone needs to follow the code of conducts you joined and read them now follow them. If we work as a team you will find that we will win more and have a lot more fun while doing it trust me I have seen it happen and I enjoy playing with everyone but I can't stand when people decide to do what they want and don't make there callouts that is part of team work and that's the only way stand together.
