    MLG has revealed the official ruleset that will be used at MLG Columbus next week.

    Does anyone know the reasoning of them banning Stalker?


    To me it's just like having stock on a AR in BO2 and that was like 100% needed, as I feel it is in this game. Really confused as to why it's banned.

    they feel as if its a disadvantage to those who dont use stalker. Its fucking stupid as shit if you ask me. I personally cant run an AR without it

    As much as people like MLG, this is why games are being made the way they are. Because of these rules I guarantee you guys that they will end up updating the game and making all sorts of changes to it and make it play like shit.

    Already the fucking cry baby bitches are crying about what should be banned and what should not and this is going to influence them towards making those changes to multiplayer overall. I knew this shit would happen, MLG is the fucking Devil of gaming !

    Regarding Stalker... the faster you move in this (any COD game) the bullet sponge you become, bc of lag comp. So I guess they try as much as possible to limit players that know this tid bit and exploit it.

    A SMG + Lightweight + Stalker, gives you an automatic extra "health" bar by way of lag comp. Ever notice how it takes more bullets/hits to take down a fast moving player vs a stationary one? It's also the Dev's way of tilting the balance/advantage towards the Run 'n Gun types.

    In theory they want to keep the game fast pace and "exciting" especially since the majority of the COD fans have ADD. That latter is my official opinion. :-) Also the reason why they banned Marksmen rifles... to cut down on the campers as much as possible. You know, since campers "ruin" the game for the situational awareness impaired players.
