Upgrading BF4 From Current Gen To Next Gen

I'm pretty sure Ghosts can be done through the app, and maybe in game.

I was looking for more information on how Battlefield is handling this. And I found a confusing statement .... from here http://www.battlefield.com/battlefie...xt-gen-upgrade.

"Do I need to keep my PS3 or Xbox 360 disc if I upgrade?
You must have the PlayStation 3 Battlefield 4 disc in your PlayStation 4 in order to play BF4 on PS4 (or Xbox 360 disc in your Xbox One)."

Say what?!? ... I'll be looking for more information on this.

I saw where Best Buy was providing credit for select games when the new platform versions were purchased at the same time as the games.
