IF Microsoft would do something like that, there are much easier ways to accomplish that than free games with gold, which not everyone will download. They're in a battle with Playstation and doing what they can to keep and get customers. Does it really cost them much to offer older games for free? I doubt it.
I got an XBL supervisor to admit that they indeed know about viruses being sent out to 360s when everyone was getting the red ring of death.
On top of that we have had a few members here that have downloaded games, updates and their 360s have been fried.
So no, this is not about being paranoid if we are there is nothing wrong with being paranoid about shit like this. Why is it that only MS with Windows, IE have to worry about viruses, prompt you to always have an anti virus installed on your pc or laptop?
There is a reason MS makes so much money and it's all tied to "scratch my back and ill scratch yours", if you don't know what I mean by that then you are very naive...
To top all this off, when I got MS to replace my 2nd 360 after talking shit to them on the phone, through emails and even having Steve Ballmer the CO of MS call me personally, my fucking Son's xbl account was hacked ....
Fuck Microsoft, if there was another way of me playing online I would, but PSN and PC are just as fucked up and only XBL shows more consistency that the other two.
Since I stopped downloading betas on my 360 I have not had one single fucking problem with it, I don't download anything unless I have to and updates are mandatory to even play on xbl so I have no control over that.
You might think we are being paranoid, but I haven't had my 360 fuck up on me since I stopped downloading unnecessary shit to it.
