I'm frustrated with headphones. My Turtle Beach's (X41 I think) are awesome when they aren't echoing for other people in the party. I've searched and searched for a fix and nothing consistently fixes it. Usually, I just put them aside for awhile, weeks, then they typically are fine again, for a bit. Part of me wants to blame MW2 because it seems to screw up when I go back and play that game but it could just be coincidence.

A good pair of headphones makes a difference in a game like COD where everything happens so quickly, hearing footsteps makes you ready for an encounter sooner.
