    Recommendations On PC Build?

    Hey Guys,

I am building my first real gaming rig. I have built many PCs in my life, but nothing comparable to what I am going to have in a few months. If you have almost unlimited funds, what would you get at every part?

I have this motherboard and a case to go with it.

What do you recommend for graphics cards to go with it?
I plan on having 2 23" monitors to go with it, so the graphics card (or cards if need be) will need to support highest graphics on both monitors (maybe even 3).

Do I need a massive 1000W power supply?

Should I go i7, or high end i5?

An i7 won't really help with gaming because the only difference between i5s and i7 is the hyper threading. You could easily get a 650w power supply and still over clock everything but only if you're getting 1 graphics card. If you go with 2 you should probably get the 1000w power supply. If you go with 2 graphics cards and have a pretty high budget go with gtx 780s. With those in sli you can easily max out every game and still get 60+ fps

The 780s were exactly what I was looking at. Glad to know I have it on the right track. I think I am going to stay with one card for now, and then move to two in a year or so. The MoBo supports 5 X PCIe, so I have plenty of room for even 4 cards.
