I hate remakes of any movie especially old horror movies like Carrie and the Last House on the Left and Chainsaw Massacre. Sissy Spacek kicked on in the original Carrie, now Chloë Grace Moretz is going to play Carrie which I am actually pretty interested in seeing her play Carrie because she is actually a very good young actress like Sizzy Spacek was in the 1970s.
The fact that Sizzy Spacek played Carrie when she was 27 and Moretz is only 16 leads me to believe this is more of an attempt to raise Moretz's diversity in movies. There is no dobut Moretz is already a very good actress and a movie like this could really make her more versatile. I hope the movie is a good one because something like this could also her her stock as an actress.
By the way she has 6 movies coming up one called Laggies to be out next year and she stars with Keira Knightley ...wow !
