Yeah it has nice areas but the closer to Downtown you get the crappier Gwinnett County gets. A lot of Asian, Mexican, Eastern European, and Southeast Asia neighborhoods there, not friendly places to go for a white guy like myself. But we lived in North Gwinnett County, used to be nothing when we moved there 20 years ago but now it's got the Mall of Georgia and literally every chain eatery, store, etc possible but still good schools. My mother still lives near the Mall of Ga in a new house my parents bought for my Father before he passed from ALS and the house I grew up in has been paid off and was abandoned for several years but at roughly $450k selling price it just got renovated and my sister (31) and her husband and 1 year old daughter are moving in there soon....my Mom had been with a new man for 4 years after my Dad passed and he was tragically killed at work last month when a crane rolled over and crushed him to death so my sis is staying with her until my Mom recovers from that.....she would be living in a huge house where my father basically died all alone otherwise. She always talk about me moving back; but I hate the heat, large amounts of people, traffic, killer snakes, poisonous spiders, the "Rat Race" feeling the Lower 48 provides. Alaska is part of the U.S. you know, so it isn't a foreign country just like Hawaii haha.
