In the Air Force we dont have MOS's we have AFSC's
I worked in Air Crew Life Support.

Actually didn't see this forum board until now.I usually dont speak much about my time in the service,but I'm sure in could dig my DD-214 up or snap a pic of some of my paperwork if need be to confirm.

I'm all about talking about my service. I know that some fucked up shit happened to some people when they served, but I got a good life out of it. I'm lucky to say I do not have PTSD, but I DO have a forever injury that will inhibit the use of my right arm for the rest of my life. My range of motion in my right shoulder is about 30% what it should be. I took the load of a 600lb box falling on me... tried to dodge it, but it crushed my shoulder instead.

ANYWAY... what base(s) were you stationed at?

For Air Traffic Control, I was at Columbus AFB, MS (pilot training base... #killmenow if you're ATC [500+ sorties daily]) and was at Offutt AFB, NE for Avionics working on the RC135 Rivet Joint

My job(afsc) was nothing heroic or exiting.I guess the best way to describe it would be to say if USAF Pilots are PGA Golfers.. We would be their Caddys!! Haha,I joined when I was 21.Had a family already so I did my best to avoid all the fun stuff.Picked a nice safe job that I could take advantage of the GI bill,and try to be more then I was....while still staying the same person.

I sincerely appreciate all the sacrifices people have made and will make. You all define the word Patriot.

Awesome dude. I loved Sheppard! Went there for training for 6mo for avionics. Beautiful Witchita Falls.....

Hahahah.. I hated it there. I spent more $$$ at Grams Station then any bar in my life.
