Battlefield tonight?

I am gonna be on tonight playing the bf4 beta and possibly gta5 tonight. wondering how many CAG's would like to join in.

I finally got to play some of the beta on my buddy's account, on the 360.

Default controls are very different from BF3. There is a Veteran option which resembles the old style. Will need to test out the controls more when I have the time (I think the new vehicles controls might be worth getting used to).

For my taste, Shanghai on Conquest is not a great map (at least not on the console with 24 players). Infantry and ground vehicles can take a long time getting into the action, which makes dying that much more frustrating. Also, this makes the A and C flags fairly boring.

I've watched a bunch of videos of the beta and I guess the console versions aren't given many vehicles ... no attack boats? no transport chopper (just the little bird)? mobile AA?

There was also the ... "I just prestiged" feeling ... where you didn't have all of the goodies that you love and make you that much better. One of my favorite classes is the recon, without a sniper rifle, but no carbines (available to all classes) were unlocked yet.



All in all, I like the game, but I would encourage people to not use this beta to judge the game.

I've had a few vehicle battles on the beta and they got pretty intense. those two bridges behind B seem to bee the hot spots for tank battles. But yea I agree also kuj. this beta is an early version of the game, so we shouldn't be too quick to judge.

I had a 20 killstreak in the tank and a 23 killstreak in the little bird, and I enjoy conquest more than domination, but other than that i agree kujeau
