it would seem my 2yr old headset has seen better days. does anyone know of a good headset for Xbox for around $40 that I can pick up at GameStop or Target or somewhere like that? don't have much money to invest in it though, so nothing fancy.

You can get really good turtle beaches at any best buy or target for around that price ... As long as you take care of them they will last you a long time...

yea, that's what I used to get, TBs. I used them just to watch TV and movies. the sound quality is incredible! I'll look at best buy. maybe I can find out what they have on their website. I just always thought they were expensive. maybe they make cheaper TBs now.

You can try eBay also. I got my x32s from there and they work great. I only paid 40 bucks for them too. Make sure though that you look for the sellers return policy just in case. Not only that but it shows you they have confidence in their product.Originally Posted by x Science Chick

Iv heard the x22 are good .
My advice is that if you can .
Try to buy them at bestbuy .
And I say that because if you don't like them u can return them with no hassle . I once returned 3 sets of headphones before I settled on my xp500s .
