Yes it does lol...we used to shoot flies with our lever action Red Ryders and we even had block shoot outs with them too. We had some epic battles and even some pretty serious injuries at times.
In Los Angeles, Lywnood to be exact, the houses have outside garages that are only separated from each other by maybe 3-4 feet from rooftop to rooftop. We would get home and bring out our Red Ryders and run across the whole block from roof top to roof top having shoot outs with the kids from the next street over.
You couldn't jump to their rooftops because that was a much longer distance so it make for some very intense shootings. We did use goggles , the same goggles we used when we went swimming to protect our eyes but sometimes you hit someone just right and the bb would actually get lodged into our skin, mostly our arms and legs because we used our own versions of "bullet proof vests" over our chests lol...we made them out of old clothes with cardboard on the inside and taped up with duct tape all around.
Wow ! good times man, when we didn't have a fucking care and all the kids got along and if you didn't you duked it out at a park called "CIRCLE PARK" which laid in the middle of State Street in Lynwood. All the great fights happened there.
