    I'm aware that IW has traditionally made the more quickscoping friendly games.

    I def agree with you that they shouldn't cater to the public. Game developers should dream big and make that dream come true.

    I feel ya on the hate messages, have had my share, not for sniping though. I can't say that I've ever gotten a positive one like that, well not for my gameplay anyways, but for my Coheed & Cambria Keywork emblem.

    I'm not sure why they thought the Target Finder was a good idea. I wonder if they felt they needed more things for the Cold-Blooded perk to work against, since they seemed to split up the "stealth" perks into 8 million perks.

    From what I've read/heard, the ability to quickscope in the first place, was a product of the game engine ... and they've just kept modifying the existing game engine rather than create a new one (takes lots of time and money). You might expect that once they decide to make a brand new one to apply to COD that quickscoping would organically disappear or they'd have to actual program it in.

    Def thumbs up on the good argument. I'm not the kind to get butt hurt.

    It was a product of the engine. With a new engine, maybe bullets won't come out of your head anymore. It seems to be more of a publicity move than any. I guess that's what irritates me more than anything. They've also left BO2 as a viable game even after launch of Ghosts and new comsoles.

    Thank god, I hate the quick scoping aspect of COD. The fact that people say they are better than your hard scoping because they are using a game engine aim assist and not their own skill is just f'ing messed up to me. I like what optic said. "Anyone can quick scope few can snipe" cause its true. To me all QS in COD is like someone bowling with the bumper rails up. If they weren't there you'd miss a lot more unless you actually practiced at keeping the ball in the lane. So good riddance, lets see what people can actually do without aim assist.

    Aim assist isn't going anywhere and it affects hard scoping more than quickscoping. BO2 was actually the hardest game to quickscope in as the 'aim assist' doesnt kick in immediately. It takes more skill to snipe (quick scope, drag scope, no scope) than it does to hard scope. There are very few maps where hard scoping is even an option.
