Support Class Gun Setups

The Support class or how Pisspawz should learn to be a team player and throw me a bro box.

I've been doing some research on guns within each class and wanted to share what I've found. Please discuss and share some of your favorite gun setups. This isn't really meant to talk about class gadgets or squad perks though.

Accessory 1: Scopes, tons of choices
Accessory 2: Bipod, Foregrip
Accessory 3: Flash Suppressor, Suppressor, Heavy Barrel, Extended Mags, Laser Sight, Tactical Light

Accessory Notes:
Bipod can heavily increase accuracy and reduce recoil but must be set up (the thing if finicky). I find it most useful when defending in Rush mode where you will likely be camping an alley or street or whatever.
Extended Mags … when in doubt, go with the mags which will reduce the number of times you'll need to reload.

Close Quarters Guns / Setup:
M27 IAR (similar guns: RPK) – I like the quick reload of the M27
KOBRA (any RDS or Holo)
Foregrip
Flash Suppressor or Laser Sight

Defensive or Ranged Guns / Setup:
M60 (similar guns: M240B, PKP Pecheng)
PKA-S (your choice)
Bipod
Extended Mag

Versatile Guns / Setup (not the best at Close Quarters or Defense but decent at both):
M249 (similar guns: Type 88 is crap, hear good things about the L86) – M249 kills quickly
PKA-S (your choice)
Bipod or Foregrip (your choice)
Extended Mag (reduces waiting for reloads)

Unfortunately the L86A2 is in the Close Quarters expansion pack. I've heard it's pretty good but haven't been able to try it out.

so look at it this way with the scopes or more so with the RDS and KOBRA sight. any time you have a american gun use the rds. same goes for the kobra, use it on russian guns. Sounds stupid but they will make the gun slightly more accurate. Pulse or burst your fire and recoil compensate you'll be dead on every time.

i have never used suppresors in the game .... i am not convinced on their value

If I am supporting the team by suppressive fire then I use "the pig".

If I am into fire and movement then I run the M27 or L86

The Pig served me well yesterday ... we were holding the line on Metro. I, unfortunately, had an RDS on it so I really couldn't see across the room but I simply kept bursting into the doorway at the other end, so with 400 rounds you can get a lot of bursts, and I was getting a MASSIVE amount of assists and suppression assists.
