I've heard that when they released BF3, the foregrip had no downside to it, but a balancing patch gave it reduced accuracy at range.

see snipers and all guns really work diffent then cod mad in bf. when your sniping you wanna go for headshots. most snipers do around 50-60% damage if you hit them in the body. I think its like 45-50 in the limbs and if your target is a good distance away the damge is reduced by meters. headshpts no matter the distance are oneshot kill. the damge is multiplied 1.5x when in the head.

I know but when your enemy is a building away if you get hit in the body your not really gonna live. Thats just a general fact! The amount of force around a sniper bullet is insane!
