    I'm looking for a new xbox live app cause the one I have is now charging. Can anyone suggest a free app or HIGHLY recommend one to buy?!

    smartglass is an app made by microsoft it allows you to write and receive msgs see who is on xbl and it also works as a remote as long as your box is turned on i have the app on my iphone and use it everyday oh yea it is free

    SmartGlass is an app provided by Microsoft. You sign in with your XBL info. You have the ability to connect the app to your 360 allowing you to control your console from your phone instead of the controller. You have access to your friends list (can make any changes, add, remove), access your messages (send, reply, though I don't think you can listen to voice messages).

    It's available on all platforms, as far as I know. (iOS, Android, Windows Phone)
