Ability to Tag People

Now that I have been here for more than a month, I want to make a suggestion that can help with the flow of forum.

I see that this forum does not have the ability to Tag someone in a post. When I was on the AGC forum. We had the power to tag someone in a post, this would then send them a notification. When they see they have a notification, they will be forwarded to the post they were tagged in. It is the same method used on Facebook.

I thought that if this were incorporated into the forum, it will really help people see posts that pertain to them much faster. If this can somehow be incorporated into the forum, I believe it will really help the clan.

We preety much already have that . Its in your notifications on the top of the page .

Also on tapatalk you have the lil tab that says participated . Click on that n it shows u all ur post that u have been active in .

I have seen that on tapatalk. But while on the site on computers, it should be simple. Like if i were to tag you, I would just put @CAG PATRON. And that would send them a notification.

Use the Fucking Hell Yeah feature located at the bottom of each post, it works exactly like the tagging feature you are talking about without the @someone twitter tag style of tagging.

When you see a post you like and you want to interact with that person more or that post or thread, just click the Fucking Hell Yeah button like Patron and I did, you will receive that notice at the top.

One more thing, using the Fucking Hell Yeah feature also increases your post count by 1 every time you give someone a FHY!

I don't think he means when you've already posted it....here's an example:

Say I posted something about a Razer controller, and I wanted Patron to see the post A.S.A.P. Instead of sending him a link via the chat or PM, I could just put @CAG PATRON somewhere in there and it would send him a notification that he had been tagged in a post.

That's a really good idea - like if you tag @1st Platoon or @Alpha Company, etc...all the way to fire teams/squads, everyone listed under that name would get a notification for the post.

I can add the feature to this site that he wants Reaper, but its an already working script from some assholes who want everyone who uses that script to add copyright links to the bottom of our site to their site and their site's fucking hosting company. The feature for that is about $80 without the branding fee, the branding fee is another $500 to be able to use it without the asshole's copyrights.

I don't advertise for free here for anyone, especially when I pay $600 for a fucking script and they want free backlinks to their fucking website and hosting company.

The subscribe feature we have here works in a similar way and so does the Fucking Hell Yeah feature. For now the tagging feature on this site is a no go, sorry guys.
