I don't like this idea one bit, this means you have to use your cards whether they are debit or credit cards and risk getting your shit stolen on xbl.

If your card information is stolen on xbl it takes MS months before they can resolve issues sometimes, imagine if they use your card and run up a $500 shopping spree?

No fucking way you guys, I hope that they do not remove paypal from this, I use that instead of my card directly to ms because of my Son's account being hacked 2 years ago.

I had a friend who had that happen; the person who hacked his account spent $500+ in microsoft points. When that happens, it no longer becomes an issue that Microsoft handles. That is also known as stealing a credit-card, and therefore you would call your bank as well (get refunded). You would have to call Microsoft but they are quick about stuff like that. Maybe not getting the account back (which he did in a week) but getting your card shut off and basically preventing anymore purchases.
