It's probably going to be more like a demo than a beta, so close to release.

Besides ... those who can participate are limited to
1. Those who pre-order the Battlefield 4™ Digital Deluxe Edition on Origin.com
2. Those who are a Battlefield 3: Premium member
3. Those who are a registered owner of Medal of Honor Warfighter Limited Edition or Digital Deluxe Edition.

I am none of these and I'm not sure BF3 Premium is worth it (only if BF4 flops and everyone runs back to BF3) :P

I think it might be the beta still, for bf3 it came out like a month before its release too.
