There seems to be enough of a distinction between these two to have different platoons. I'm very familiar with the COD core vs hardcore differences. What about Battlefield?
Players take less damage before dying?
Vehicles take less damage before sploding?
No mini-map?
And on a crazy side note ... why are there COD threads in this forum?
That is a good question bro... Ill look into it and see why COD forums are showing up on the BF3 side.. Interesting!!
I believe in battlefield you have 60% health, no ammo display, enemies don't get that red dorito above their head when spotted but appears on the mini map. And also depending on how the server owner set up the game you might not have a mini map. Just a compass. it dramatically changes the game. call outs are basically the only form of spotting. snipers are more of a threat, and yes vehicles have less health. you also don't recover health on your own so if your wounded you need a med kit.
That all makes some sense.
If someone kills you, do you still get to see the brief feed of what they are doing?
Also, I've heard that in BF4 you might start losing the unspent rounds in your clip when you reload? Or that it may only be a hardcore feature.
No you don't get like a "kill cam" per se like you do in core.
