Something has to be a miss as franks101st has self request weapons awards in the past also.(I made sure they where on point back then so that everything was accurate) but I found it strange that he could self request given the rank

If anything Sacred look at It that you have brought this to our attention rather than something you have individually done wrong
It's all good. Just I thought that their were certain medals we could request ourselves and some others had to request for us but now I know

Time serving medals,active service medals as in armed forces medals,reinforcement medals (donation medal),prestige awards,games played awards and good conduct awards are able to be requested by the individual.
If it says "Request Award" you can request it for yourself ...it it says "Recommend Award" that's to recommend someone else for this award ...
I will fix it though ...
