I woke this morning to find out my dad had a major stroke. Its hard to see him not able to talk to me right now.i am his only son and he mean the world to my kids. I will know more information on it in 72 hrs. Because that's when they said they will see how his body is healing. If you can pray for him, that would be great. Thank you all and should be back on soon.

I have had 3 strokes in 2 years Bro, hopefully they were not severe and hell be right back on his feet in no time. Make sure you ask his Dr. if he is diabetic and have them check him for "DVT" Deep Vein Thrombosis which leads to strokes. They are blood cloths in your legs and or lungs, but from what I was told you can get them in your main arteries which impeded oxygen to your brain and cause the strokes.

Ill pray for your father. My aunt just had a stroke, it was hard going but she made it through just fine. Just keep up the good hope and I wish you and your family all the luck!

Thanks all and cheech for the great info. I will make sure to ask those question.Been asking them all the one I could think of. The thing is that he was on his way back from vacation when he was about 4 hours away when he was having issues. My uncles where with him. But he told them he wanted to wait til he git back into town.So nit sure how much damage it did. I know the soon you get to the hospital the better. I go back today to find out more. Just updating you all. Been real busy getting all my dads stuff straight. Like applying for disability(just incase he doesn't make a full recovery) making sure all his bills are paid and that they get paid on time. I will be on and off the game every now and then. Update on him is that he is able to lift his arm almost to shoulder height but still not able to move his fingers. He's able to put a couple words together but nothing major. He out of the hospital and in rehab center. I visit once a day just to let him know where here for him. Will give more updates as I get them. Thank you all for your continued prayers
