looking for advice and suggestions

well being i havnt really played awhole lot my ability is lacking maybe alot. any way i have some questions. one i have a hard time sitting in one place. i think hesitation is one problem. my controller set up i think is another.. i was playing tactical but changed i found my self going down really fast when i see some one so i changed that. however the sensitivity i have set at 7 now if i change that and go lower does that mean i will be moving slower. i think i have tunnel vision when it comes to playing. so where do you think i should make my changes. other question is from what i read you have to do your marksmanship in core, why cant you do it in hc. i rarely play core so that will be an adjustment.

Try joining the run n gun squad maybe you'll have better luck there. If you change your sensitivity you will move slower but be a little more accurate I think. I think we all get tunnel vision but I think you have to eliminate the target that is an immediate threat them drop the other player next if possible. I hesitate also cause I don't want to team kill but sometimes the name doesn't pop up very quick either! Keep playing man see where your lacking and make adjustments when possible. As for your control set up use whatever works for you I use tactical also for drop shooting but I halo jump for the hell of it too

#1 try target finder #2 if u go to a Lower number u move slower higher number move faster mine is on 2 or 3 and # 3 ur marksmen doesn't have to be done on core

well i play hard core mostly the only time i play core is demolition.hard point. the down side to hc in black ops is the game modes are fewer. i like more of the objective type games rarely will you see me play team death match or kill confirmed unless its with clan members. all suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Play like you don't give a shit. People get a little mixed up and their reactions slow down because they get anxious without realizing it. If you play to win but truly don't care if you die you'll get better quick.

a lower sensitivity will give you a easier time making small aim adjustments at range. when dealing with multiple enemies kill the one looking at you first. if they are both looking at you kill the closest one first. the one farther away won't have as easy of a shot. also make sure you don't take cover behind thin objects especially walls. rocks or dumpsters work best. if your running and gunning duck off somewhere when you reload. in a 1 v 1 battle never approach the enemy from the same spot.

i hear you. the best advice i can give anyone is practice practice practice. the more you play with CAG the better you will get. trust me.

Gritz said it best, No amount of tweaks or tips I tell you will get you better over night, but I can say, Is for you to practice,practice,practice. But not only with clan member maybe go off on your own, get a feel for the game. If your at a 7 sensitivity then you bump it up everytime you feel your prepared for it,again, practice. You have to find your own type of play style, some like to play claw, I personally switch claw and orthadox. (Claw is just a different position your hand is in, on the controller, just if you didn't know) But! Like i said get a feel for what you like, Tactical is usually best for a run and gun type, and a "peek-a-booer" Someone who crouches and ducks behind an object. Again, practice.

And the whole tunnel vision thing, it happens to everyone bro! and yes, the immediate threat is the one you want to go for! But you won't get it off the bat, and guess what it takes? Right, PRACTICE! Lol, All it comes down to is how comfortable you are in your playing style, find yours and you will dominate and remember to have fun. ALWAYS, if you ever feel an obligation to playing a video game, it defeats the whole purpose.

Angel said it though, you don't need to earn it on core, each type has its own way of earning your marksman badge. And I do wish you luck and you get on your way to becoming a CAG Dogg, we have skittles and shit.
