Well they had no choice if you dont wanna lose customers you have to play with the competition. You know what i think microsoft thought playstation couldn't compete against them.
Thats why they did all the crazy shit to maximize profit. If either one ever takes over or they work together we will be paying $1200 for a system and 100 for games. With a shitload of restrictions.
