First tattoo

Hey guys this kinda sounds like a little kid right now but I'm getting my first tattoo. It will be the old fashion Japanese style so needles and a hammer oh ya gona love it haha just need a few ideas:/ I'm trying to find something that's me but idk where to even start. Any ideas for me to look into myself or ask myself any questions that will help?

first off how many tattoos are you going to get, think of it like this you want all your tatts to tie in with each other like when dressing to go out.. noting worse then having aload of random tatts in random areas..

im nearly 30 now and i have been trying to think of a tatt since i was 15 and i still have none lol.. think long and hard and get the most skilled person to do it for you no matter what cost, it will be worth it in the end.

Well for me my first tattoo was a tribal sleeve. I come from a long line of warriors in the samoan hawaiian tribes. And each piece of my sleeve represents something of my culture even family history. My tattoo tells a story of how my islands came to be.

What im saying is think of something important in your life and put it into a form of art that has meaning to you. For example in my sleeve theres a lilly with 3 pedals. The pedals represent 3 loved ones I hold dear. My mother,My grandmother and father. So put some thought into your tattoo because it cant be rubbed off and it will become a part of you.

i got 6 tattoos but every one of them has a meaning to it i have a cross with my grandpas itinals my neice in another cross i got my last name and family in itailyin and love in chinese so just think whats best for u bud

Just make sure it's right..my first one was something I just recently had covered because it was shit. Recently had a couple more done in memory of my mama that I designed myself but it took a long time to make sure it was exactly what I wanted.

I have 90 percent of my body tatted . and all my tattoos have meaning behind it . so i say if you happen to put anything . Try to have it mean something to you in life .
like for example . i spent 3 years in prison for a robbery i did back in 2002 and so i incorparated that into my tattoos .
ill post a pic of it in a bit .
so i say anything you do make sure it has meaning . its always fun to explain my tattoos to my kids when they ask .

biggest mistake i ever made was getting tattoo's.

i heard that hammer and needle shit really hurt's like a mug wherever you get so i would say don't get anything to detailed or large. especially if it's your first - everyone handles it differently.
