For 60$ you cant beat the X 12s. Good sound, you can hear footsteps well.

EVERYONE turn your audio settings to SUPERCRUNCH for maximum hearing.

The X12s are awesome and they are not that expensive...they r 60 dollars at walmart.

I have the Astro A50's and they're the best headset I've ever owned...amazing sound quality and the 3 EQ modes really add to the quality of the sound. They are really comfortable and easy to use with only 1 wire. There are only two problems: it runs out of battery if you play a lot, and your ears will get hot if you have them on for a long time..

If you want to get the best headphones possible for gaming in surround sound. With the best positional accuracy buy the ad700s. They are some of the ugliest headphones ever but work amazing and only run you about 90$. To be able to use these on your xbox 360 you need to get a astro mixamp. Or if you already have a pair of x41s then you can use the reciever it comes with. What the astro mixamp does is converts the headphones into virtual surround sound. Ad700s work so well with this that they are considered by many to be one of the if not the best headphones for surround sound. They are way way way way way better then headphones like the astro a40s which cost much more. They might not have that flashy bass but if you want to hear footsteps ect.. you really dont want that much bass.
