controlling your recoil and maximizing your killing potential.

One thing that all of you should try is to pull down on the control stick in the opposite direction of the recoil. This allows you to effectively cancel out recoil and get tons of rounds down range. If you do this while burst firing then you have a huge killing potential. Most of the popular battlefield youtubers like levelcap use this technique. Its really really effective, it just takes some practice. =)

Along with that if you switch your Y-Axis aiming to inverted, you will have quicker reaction time, wider range of motion, and easier recoil control.

Vertical, pisspaws pretty much explained it.
The theory behind it is that our eyes perceive everything in our world "Up-side down", and our brain flips it around to see right side up. So using opposite control of motion, it's supposed to give a natural "feel" and quicker reaction time.
It is also much easier in game to play inverted than normal for it will allow you to use the joy stick with ease without having to mash "Up" to look up.

It is just easier overall.
All you need to do is go on campaign, play for and hour or 2 in invert, and you will get the hang of it fairly quick.
I remember in 5th grade, i sucked at halo. My buddys older brother made me play invert, and once i got the hang of it, i was defiantly alot better. It will give you a superior advantage in all games.

I've always played inverted and will continue to do so if its not inverted I can't play until I change it. It is more natural way of playin even my flight is inverted

i was trying it the other day and it just doesn't work for me. i never could play inverted unless it's a flying game. even way back on the OG Halo i had a buddy who dominated on inverted and i would use his profile and i couldn't even walk around.

Yeah it takes me a while to go back and forth from getting used to the controls. What control button layout do you guys use if any?
