controlling your recoil and maximizing your killing potential.

I was wondering how good the CAG members are at controling their recoil and burst firing. For those of you who who don't know what this is. Burst firing is where fire in rounds of 3-7 rounds depending on the gun. Guns bullet spread increases the more you hold down the trigger. This is ussually used along with controlling recoil for the highest kill speed. So to control your recoil you pull down on the control stick (or mouse) in the opposite direction as the recoil goes. This essentially can give you 0 recoil if you get really good with it. This along with burst firing can give you the ability to take out targets extremely fast at all ranges. So... how many of you do this, and how good are you at it?

I burst fire from long range usauly just to get that tight spot of bullets on my target . But up close I'm all over the trigger .

I just tap the trigger with any automatic assault rifle to reduce recoil unless I run up on someone close range.

But I mostly use a m8 so that doesn't apply

pretty much what diamond said. with some guns on BF3 i can fire 1-2 shots on automatic. burst firing is essential to get good and to get the kill on BF3 instead of the assist

2 round-burst mode = 1200rpm/s with a First shot recoil modifer of 0, meaning each 2 rounds, up to and entire magazine is going to the same exact spot with much practice.

Sometimes i miss the spread lmao.

I burst fire for the medium to long range and even tight shots, but I hip fire for close range shots and then zoom in. Might be a flawed way to do it but it works. If you got any ideas that would help too.

You got the right idea to do a hipfire into aiming down the sights. That will give them a nice saturation of rounds to supress them from lining up their shot, while you line up yours. Just aim for center, of the center mass; or the crotch if your weapon kicks like a mule (Auto sniper, LMG, G3A3, etc.)

Its good to burst hipfire as well. Only occasionally will i hipfire if they are not completely filling my crosshairs (core). I know none will miss then.

Just load up a pump + slugs. No need to worry about recoil, just how to aim the fuckers haha.

On bf3 I literally burstfire the majority of time as it does give the edge over the opposition but when it calls for I switch out for the single shot which a lot of ppl under estimate.swaping out to single shot gives me the accuracy of a surgeon!

Yeah I use single shot when going for a very long shot because bursting is just a waste of ammo/time at that point because really only 1 bullet will hit and the recoil of the next few will be above the person, while the single shot you can still shoot fast and hit most of the shots. Also guns that seem to have "no recoil" when going full auto on something at mid range, it may appear to have no recoil but your bullet spread is just so bad that your reticle might be on the target and never move but your bullets will shoot all around it and you basically missed all your shots even though your reticle was always on the target.

I like the burst fire technic unless someone is all up in my face then it's full auto until they hit the ground
