i had numerous teachers in high school who were there for the check. not to educate. so what i learned in high school has little to no application on paper. i got life lessons among other things. so with that said i find testing as a whole useless. especially state tests. i loved to just circle anything on those state tests and be done in 15 minutes. "take them seriously they mean something". no they mean rank country wide. i'm not that stupid. colleges certainly don't look at your grades on the state tests from 9th grade or senior year. don't bullshit the bullshitter. another fucked up thing how can you measure and compare students from all over the US? in a society where you get medals for participation they still want to find ways to make it a competition. modern society blows my mind sometimes it really does.
