    Recording games/practices?

Who here has a PVR (Personal Video Recorder)? I have a Happauge HD PVR which allows me to record gameplay in HD. I use to do commentaries but stopped due to my lacking game talent. So Cheech, if we need any games/practices recorded I have the ability to do so.

Good stuff dude. I am going to get a capture card myself, but I need to get some more gig into my laptop. We had a member, MrJezter and he was recording for us before but he decided to go his own way.

Anyways, if you can record lets to it. Also, your own video on youtube would not be a bad idea when you get on and play with us. That can promote CAG for us.

I really don't do it anymore. The people that watch videos expect like a 54:3 KDR or a nuke or something. I'm definitely not that good. Haha.

Don't worry about the kdr, we need that footage also for training purposes. That type of video can really be helpful to us regardless of the outcome.

I just hope the site will be able to hold all that. And not cost anything extra!

I am going to get an unlimited bandwidth plan soon, so don't worry about that. And videos more than anything will be streamed from youtube, let them do all the work... :P

True. No need to host videos when YT can.

    Re:Recording games/practices?

Mocks, Back in Cod4 I was a "average" player with a solid kdr (althought to me it don't matter) and a good w/l ration ... what got me better was watching those 52-3 players and how they play I took some notes and realize that Map knowledge is key to being good in Call of Duty and any other shooter, so if you record yourself on games that you've lost and gone say 4-11 you watch the video and see what you did wrong, just my .2 on this
