    Car issue. Any tips?


    As some of you know I'm out dealing with some family issues.

    My brother is home, and tried to use my jeep. (99 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo)
    He got about 5 mins from the house and all the electronics starting going heywire. Every warning light was going on and off. The power steering wasn't working. Stereo was turning it self on and off. The speedometer was bouncing up and down.

    I have no idea what happened, it was running fine before I left. My Uncle wants him to drive to his house which is roughly an hour and a half away. Brothers worried that it will just crap out on him and hill be stuck in the middle of nowhere.

    Anyone have any tips for a quick fix?

    It sounds like there's a major electric problem n never to good or safe to operate a car when its doing that. One thing u can try to do is desconect the battery for a quik minute n see if the computer resets it self ...

    I drive a 94 Toyota Corolla with over 300,000 miles on it and it still runs like a champ! The only thing I have ever replaced on it was the starter (6 years ago), the clutch (8 years ago) and the radiator cuz some asshole backed into my car and cracked it.

    If it was a Toyota you wouldn't be having this problem!

    Wow dude that fucking blows ! I love this car man, it used to be my Pops car and he put nothing but freeway miles on it. Everyone always asks me why don't I buy a new car and I tell them "dude, new cars suck ass! most people buy new cars and 2-3 months later they have serious problems with them"

    I know eventually this car is going to run out of juice, but it has been loyal to me for 13 years now and I will drive that car till it just can't go anymore!

    Belt tensioner unit or something lol. It makes you serpentine rotate.
