Best way to go is practice in the mirror. It helps alot also a good tip is record your whole speech on your computer or phone then listen to it. It'll help alot in determining if your speaking to fast to slow where you think you should pause etc. Another is i always have a glass or bottle of water. Not because Im thirsty but because it allows you to pause for a second rethink your thoughts while you take a drink and then continue its a nice pause to rethink about what to talk about next

I couldn't do that I have some wicked stage nervousness issues. I would have just keep singing Trinidad james to myself or something ridiculous to ease my nerves. glad it went well though.
The professional business women there asked if they would interview me for an internship. The men on the other hand besides my principal said nothing to me. My mentor who we talk to, I felt that he did not like me(a gut feeling), he barely asked me questions, meanwhile my two other friends/classmates got questions. Tbh I felt really upset and wished my mentor were one of the business women. They made me smile, my other friends knew that I was very sad and upset about what happened and cheered me up. This did give me a negative view of people who own their own real estate companies. Thank god, I am majoring in sports marketing. At least I got an internship that I can get. Sorry for the long post.
